Fusing Seminar Back to Classes

Date -- T.B.A.

Time -- 11 am to 3 pm

Cost -- $110.00 + GST

In this class we will discuss the different Tested-Compatible Hot Glass Products from different companies and see what products are available. We will cover the different firing programs, from Full Fuse to Tack Fusing and Slumping and the different types of glass you can use to make some great glass pieces. We will also discuss kilns and what is right for you.

You will design 7 to 10 different jewellery pieces as we will guide you in the art of fusing using dichroic glass and many other glass colours.

All materials are supplied in this class along with a hand out sheet. We do ask that you bring your own glass cutter, marking pen(Sharpie) and your lunch.

It will take 10 to 12 hours for your pieces to complete the fusing cycle. Pieces can be picked up the following Thursday.

What We Do

Mystic Stained Glass is a 800 Sq. Ft. Retail / wholesale glass studio with the largest selection of glass and supplies in the surrounding area. We have over 700 different colours of glass in stock including Spectrum, Wissmach, Kokomo, Bullseye, just to name a few glass suppliers.

We carry a large selection of pattern books, stained glass hand tools, soldering irons, grinders, chemicals and cleaners, zinc capping, lead came, bevels and bevel clusters, fusing glass and supplies, and patio stone molds. In addition, we are always adding new products as they become available.
